Angela Knedgen
Chief of Staff, Mission Expansion
Campus Ministry
Ephesians 4:11-16 “And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry…”
As Chief of Staff, I work closely with the Directors of Mission Expansion to engage and empower staff, volunteers, churches and other Christian organization partners to connect people to Jesus Christ through evangelistic programs, projects and partnerships. Mission Expansion is a collective of 6 teams that focus on initiatives that give lift and accelerate the effectiveness of the Campus Ministry.
Your partnership enables the 60 staff of Mission Expansion to fulfill their calling with Cru and the Lord to reconcile people to Jesus Christ. Thank you for partnering with us to build the capacity of the campus ministry for gospel movements, launching Cru ministries in new places with little to no gospel presence and connecting students and faculty to Jesus Christ. I’ve included descriptions of our six areas of focus below.
Gospel in Action
weaving the compassionate works and words of the gospel into the fabric of the Campus Ministry by connecting Cru movements to pressing human need, helping the spiritually and physically oppressed and bringing the hope and healing of Christ to our broken world.
Prayer Catalyst
Engaging our movements and ministry partners in mission-focused prayer for revival and spiritual awakening as we express our dependence upon the Lord in and through prayer.
Strategic Partnering
Cultivating high-leverage opportunities with other organizations and their networks to help equip and mobilize more students, faculty, and volunteers to engage in Great Commission ministry.
Strategic Initiatives
providing excellent evangelistic campaigns, communicators, and strategies that expose men and women to the gospel message through messages of encouragement and admonishment that point people to Jesus.
Volunteer Strategies
connecting people desiring to volunteer with our ministry to opportunities to engage in kingdom building work. From alumni to parents of current students, we connect people to places to serve that cultivate their gifts and skills for the kingdom.
Coaching Center
enabling us to help launch movements where we have no staff to care for, mentor and coach volunteers, students, staff and churches, to build and sustain chapters on their campus.
Bryan Knedgen
Ministry Partner Development Coach
Theological Development Team
Theological Development
As a part of a team of theological leaders, Bryan helps staff, interns and volunteers develop the biblical and theological competencies (head, heart and hands) they need to carry out our mission. His role in our continuing education courses brings a theological voice to bear on all the work of Cru, offering a compelling theological apologetic for cross-cultural mission and helping Cru remain faithful to its theological identity while partnering with the body of Christ in the fulfillment of the Great Commission.
Ministry Partner Development Coach
Bryan meets weekly with new staff to bring Christ-centeredness and financial faithfulness to the foundation of their work inviting people to partner with them financially and prayerfully. On a day to day basis, Bryan will inspire and equip staff by training and coaching them in skills that enable them to successfully raise and maintain their full financial ministry needs so they may be effective in their ministries.
